ABOUT

PARIGI is an independent jewelry brand founded in Copenhagen in 2026 by Norwegian-Armenian creative Paris Hovnanian. The brand brings statement design into jewelry made for everyday life.

Born from an obsession with statement jewelry, vintage design and the pieces that make an outfit feel complete, PARIGI creates jewelry designed to be noticed - and worn often.

The name Parigi, meaning Paris in Italian, comes from Paris’ longtime nickname. It reflects the world surrounding the brand: personal, European and a little nostalgic.

PARIGI draws from vintage Italian style, old couture, found objects and the instinctive way women collect and wear jewelry. The brand embraces pieces with presence: sculptural forms, unexpected stones and bold silhouettes that can transform something as simple as a white shirt.

Designed in Copenhagen and developed with artisans in Armenia, each piece begins with a sketch and is refined through material, proportion and form.

The result is jewelry that feels found rather than new. Familiar, but a little unexpected.

Made to be worn. Made to be remembered.

STORY

Paris grew up between Copenhagen and New York, where an early fascination with styling, fashion and the way people dress became the foundation of her creative world.

While studying Fashion Business at Parsons School of Design in New York, she became increasingly drawn to maximalist styling and the transformative power of accessories. Her time working in PR at Altuzarra introduced her to the world of runway, editorial and occasion dressing, while later capturing street style with OOTD.com in SoHo, showed her another side of fashion - one that was instinctive, individual and entirely personal.

After returning to Copenhagen, Paris worked with Danish fashion houses including GANNI and Baum und Pferdgarten. Across seasons and fashion weeks, she became fascinated by the contrast between Scandinavian dressing and the bold jewelry worn alongside it: an oversized earring against a simple shirt, a sculptural piece with an otherwise understated look.

It sparked the idea for PARIGI - a brand dedicated entirely to the statement piece.

Her Norwegian-Armenian background and experiences between Copenhagen and New York continue to shape the world of PARIGI, alongside references to vintage Italian glamour, old couture and the jewelry women collect over a lifetime.

Paris is drawn to contrast and to combinations that aren't supposed to work: polished with imperfect, bold with understated, nostalgic with new.

PARIGI lives somewhere between glamour and the everyday.
